Postal Valuations
We also offer a postal valuation service from the Guild Valuation Centre with
a turnaround time of just 7 working days, for a convenient and
hassle-free service.
Once you have booked your valuation, we will send you a
pre-paid package for your jewellery items, which you can use to return the items
to us. Your parcel can be insured for up to £2,500 using Royal Mail Special Delivery.*
Your items will then be returned to you within a 7 working day period along with
your completed valuation.
A £20 deposit is required to secure postal bookings. This will then be deducted
from your fee once the valuation has been completed.
Our prices are based on the total value of your jewellery rather than on the number
of items and start at just £49.95 including VAT.
Items purchased from a shopping/internet channel: It is not generally
necessary to have items of this provenance valued for insurance replacement purposes.
We strongly suggest that you insure the item(s) for the amount paid or contact your
insurance company for further advice.
