Our highly experienced team work exceptionally well together, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skills from various backgrounds.

Our Guild Valuers are industry leading professionals holding various and multiple recognised trade qualifications. These include FGA & DGA with many of them also holding membership of the Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV) and the Jewellery Valuers Association (JVA). 

We are committed to promoting continued professional development and encourage all our valuers to continue their learning.

Paula Grenney

Business Operations Manager BA(Hons), PJ Dip

Business Operations Manager Paula heads up the Guild of Valuers & Jewellers from our offices in Bath.  

Paula has been working in the jewellery industry for the past 21 years. She joined the Guild in 2002 where she assisted in the development of the ‘total valuation solution’ now offered to the jewellery trade. 

Having worked in various roles within the company, Paula dedicates her expertise and industry knowledge towards streamlining and developing the business. 

It is her passion and drive to ensure that the highest standards of valuing are delivered to our network of customers.

Nick Hadler

Valuation Centre Manager & Guild Valuer BA(HONS), FIRV 93610, FNAJ, PJ Gem Dip, PJ Val Dip

Nick is a Fellow of the NAJ's Institute of Registered Valuers and has held the position of Valuation Centre Manager here at The Guild of Valuers & Jewellers for the past 15 years. 

With over 20 years' experience in the jewellery trade, Nick has worked through The National Association of Jewellers qualifications starting with the Professional Jewellers Diploma in 2002, followed by The Professional Jewellers Gemstone Diploma in 2006 and achieving The Professional Jewellers Valuation Diploma in 2009. 

He has been a Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers since 2015. He is a Fellow of The National Association of Jewellers and is a current contributor to the IRV Steering Group. In 2023 Nick was appointed an Advisor for students enrolled to the National Association of Jewellers Foundation of Appraisal Practice (FoAP), where he mentors and assesses the next generation of valuers.

David Baker

Guild Valuer BA(HONS), FIRV 92708, FGA, DGA

After completing a degree in Fine arts valuation in 2000, David specialised in the area of Gemmology and jewellery. After a short time in retail, he went to work for a company specialising in post and pre loss valuations for insurance companies, from this he went to work for the Art Loss Register a company who specialises in the restitution of stolen art. Returning to the valuation side a few years later he gained the FGA and DGA status with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. In 2007 David became a self-employed valuer and established himself as one of the main valuers/gemmologists in the Bath area.

Around this time, he gained the status of MIRV (Member of the Institute of Registered Valuers) with the National Association of Jewellers and has since become a Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers. David joined the Guild of Valuers & Jewellers as a full-time resident valuer in October 2013.

Leona Fish

Guild Valuer BA(Hons), FIRV 93209, FJVA 20178, PJ Val Dip, PJ Gem Dip, PJ Dip

Leona began her jewellery career in 1997 when she completed a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in Three-Dimensional Design, Silversmithing and Jewellery. Following her degree she started work for a small independent jeweller.

Leona then moved to a national high street jeweller where she quickly progressed to assistant manager of a large retail store. During this time she obtained her Professional Jewellers Diploma. In 2002 Leona began working for Loss Management Group in Bath, initially as a Jewellery Claims Loss Assessor, then progressing to Senior Insurance Repairs Assessor. Leona then obtained the Professional Jewellers Gemmology Diploma (PJ Gem Dip) and Professional Jewellers Valuation Diploma (PJ Val Dip) and attended a diamond grading course in Antwerp.

In 2009 Leona became a Registered Valuer (IRV) and in 2014 Leona joined the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers as a Valuer. In 2015 she was delighted to be invited to become a Fellow of the NAJ's Institute of Registered Valuers (FIRV). Leona is also a founder member of the Jewellers Valuers Association (JVA) where she is also a Fellow. In 2023 Leona was appointed an Advisor for students enrolled to the National Association of Jewellers Foundation of Appraisal Practice (FoAP), where she mentors and assesses the next generation of valuers.

Stuart Leeds

Business Support BSc(Hons), MSc, JET 1

Stuart joined The Guild of Valuers and Jewellers as Business Support in March 2022. He ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations and assists Paula and the team in general business interactions. 

Often the first responder with incoming calls, he also maintains a healthy business relationship with clients and customers. In addition, Stuart also offers support on calls for My Portfolio enquiries and our bespoke valuation software, GuildPro2. 

In 2023 Stuart passed the NAJ Jewellery Education Training (JET 1) programme with outstanding results and continues to enhance his knowledge to support his role.

Anastasiia Bielkovska

Business Support Administrator Level 2 Business

Anastasiia joined The Guild of Valuers & Jewellers as Business Support in August 2023. She ensures our Valuation Centre is prepared and equipped for a busy day. Carefully handling jewellery through the process, Anastasiia deals with the day-to-day operations within the Valuation Centre to ensure a smooth valuation process.

Naomi Eade

Business Support Administrator Level 4 in Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching

Naomi joined The Guild of Valuers & Jewellers as part-time Business Support Administrator in June 2023. Carrying out the general day-to-day operations in The Valuation Centre, Naomi ensures the smooth running and organisation of the office, supporting all our staff, valuers and customers.

Naomi also works as the part time receptionist, available to meet and greet customers using our Direct drop off Service.

Alice Keverne

Marketing Executive BA(Hons) Cert GA

Trained on the jewellers bench, Alice joined the Guild in 2009 whilst studying for the Gem-A Gemmology Foundation Course.

After 11 years working as Sales Executive, Alice left to set up her own independent business which she continues to successfully grow. Alice re-joined the Guild in 2023, in a part-time capacity, to compliment both businesses. She now works as Marketing Executive for the Guild and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and invaluable experience.

Catherine Parsons

Contracted Guild Valuer

Catherine has been in the jewellery industry for 33 years and has worked for most major jewellery retailers & various independent jewellers in this time, 27 of those as an industry leading Valuer.

During this time Catherine has built up her own freelance international valuation business and has been working alongside insurance companies, solicitors and county police forces with all things jewellery and valuing related.

Catherine has a huge range of jewellery knowledge and clients love her passion and enthusiasm for the industry.

We have been very fortunate that Catherine has been working alongside The Guild for over 12 years now offering her invaluable experience and service to us and our clients.

Tim Bicknell

Contracted Guild Valuer DGA FJVA20108

Tim became a Registered Valuer in 2002 and was awarded Valuer of The Year in 2017. He is a founder member of the Jewellers Valuers Association (JVA) where he holds Fellowship, and is also a Member of Gem-A. Tim has served on the committees of both The Institute of Registered Valuers and Jewellery Valuers Association.

Tim is regularly invited to deliver workshops on valuation methodology and diamond assessment to new and future valuers in London for the GIA and Gem-A. Recently he has lectured in America at the Tucson Gem Show.

Anna Rogers

Expert Witness & Contracted Guild Valuer GIA GG, FIRV 99020, Gem-A, JHS

Anna Rogers is a highly qualified gemmologist, registered jewellery valuer, and Expert Witness based at the London Diamond Bourse, where she leads her own independent jewellery valuation consultancy. With over 15 years of experience in the valuation of diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls, and antique jewellery, Anna specialises in high-level valuations for Insurance, Division of Assets, Open market, and legal purposes.

Anna is a Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers (FIRV) and conducts all valuation work in strict accordance with the IRV Code of Practice, regulated by the National Association of Jewellers.

Her legal expertise includes acting as an expert witness in civil and criminal cases, with instructions from solicitors, police, and Legal Aid agencies. She has also trained in dispute resolution and mediation through the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Anna completed the Expert Foundation Course with the Academy of Experts in 2020, covering all aspects of expert witness conduct and courtroom procedure. In addition to her valuation work, she serves on the IRV Professional Review Panel.

Anna is an active contributor to professional development within the industry, regularly lecturing at events such as the NAJ Summit and GIA London, and writing for industry publications including The Jeweller magazine. Her credentials include Graduate Gemmologist (GIA), Jewellery Historian (BA), and Expert Witness, making her a respected authority in both jewellery expertise and legal proceedings.
